Another day, another dollar. Things are going along grand here in Bostonia. This past weekend I went home to celebrate my friend Alexis' graduation from business school. Was nice to see all my friends from home, as we got to chat, drink beer and build fires. And I got to see the moms, and chat about life. I love the moms, who are like adopted parents (and who are thrilled there will be a lawyer in the "family".)
I then came back to Bostonia in time for my sailing lesson, where I did not kill my self, my friend barb, who is my sailing partner, or my instructor, Mike. I swear the instructors do not trust Barb and I with the boat, but we will show them next weekend, when we get to go off on our own. We did get to go kayaking in the afternoon, which was a ton of fun. I've neverf kayaked before, but it is really easy, and a plesant workout for the arms. I managed to survive the weekend with a few scraps and one blister, so I consider it a great success.
And now I am back to work, drafting motions, talking to clients, and becoming an the office expert on drafting qualified domestic relations orders (QDROs) because, hey, it can't hurt to be an expert in something
Oh yeah, and I got my grades and did not fail anything, so I suppose I am good to go. Go me. :-)
